School staff can assist a student with medication under the carer provisions of the Health (Drugs and Poisons) Regulation (1996) provided that a written request is received from the student's parent or legal guardian. Staff must follow the directions on the original pharmacy label attached to the medication container.
School staff must not administer over-the-counter medication, including analgesics, homeopathic or prescribed medications unless they meet the accountability of a written request from a parent/caregiver accompanied by written advice from a medical practitioner and with the medication in the original labelled container. The exception is the reliever puffer, such as Ventolin, that is included for the emergency treatment of asthma under the guidelines.
Parents are asked to use the School Medication form to request the administering of prescribed medication. (.pdf download)

Car parking space is very scarce at the school. Parents are not to park within the school grounds between the hours of 8:00am and 3:30pm. Failure to adhere to this rule is endangering the lives of children and the property of school staff.
Please also respect the rights of our neighbours and do not park or drop off in Harris Lane. The small entrance to the quadrangle is not a drop off zone. This area is used for a bus stop for children in our Special Education Unit. Other parents using this as a parking space or a drop off zone are endangering the safety of other students.
Our school hours are 8:50am - 3:00pm.
Teachers are not on duty to supervise children before school. Children at school before 8:30am should be enrolled in Windsor School Age Care program.
Parents are asked to ensure all children are at school prior to the commencement of lessons. Late arrival impacts not only on your child but interrupts the learning of all other students in the class. Children arriving after 9:00am must report to the school office to receive a late slip.
If a child has to leave the school early for any reason, parents must sign the child out of the school at the school office. The office will arrange for the child to be sent from the class to the office. Parents are not to go to classrooms and collect children. if a child returns to school after leaving for an appointment, it is necessary for the parent to sign the child back into the care of the school.
